DesktopX Wallpaper images

In my wallpaper section of desktopX it only lets me pic Jpg or Bitmap, is there any way I can change this to include Jpegs, or gifs, or any other picture formats?

I am not sure if you do a *.* in the file name field if it will allow you to pick out a different format or not?

I think that at the moment, you can only use .bmp's or .jpg's as background images in DX.

kinda what I was figuring too, mostly because it only lists the two
wasn't sure yet though, still hand drawing/sketching graphics and laying
things on in place on graph-paper. Mmmm, paste up kinda thing, dun no if
that is common, just eaiser for me to keep track of things and put all
the possibilities together before attempting to actually put it on the
computer
