User ID#'s

What does the User ID#'s refer too? I'm assumming it has something to do with how long you have been here...or somewhere. I'm curious because my number is fairly low compared to what I see for many others.

I had a much lower number, but I messed up my account somehow and had to join again. Sad, huh? (OK, maybe not sad, just pathetic....)
