This is for WindowBlinds and WidnowFX. I was thinking that if there was a way for both programs to respoind to a website then that would make the program and websites more interactive.
Like say a WindowBlind named X-456 if for a site X-123. When the user goes to site X-123 the WindowBlind X-456 reacts to it with new buttons to push or an animation.
The images can either come with the skin or when the user goes to the site WindowBlinds downloads them from the site upon entry.
The same thing with WindowFX.
There might be some security problems but hopefully that can be worked out.
What you you think??????????

Hey, sure this can, when you run a skin on your computer, en then go tu wincustomize, the submit button, and checkboxes are skinned too...

The new buttons whould interact with the site. Say site xyz is a shopping site and windowblind abc would interact with it and have buttons generate and by clicking on it would take you to a new product or specail page. Maybe a specail pop up or menu.
Maybe the skin would change color when one the site of it was designed for, specail buttons would come up... maybe an animation. But only when the user goes to that site.
Interaction is key!!

Keep in mind the "irritating website designer" factor. Remember those people that brought you popup ads? Probably they'd be able to figure out an irritating way to use that new WindowBlinds thing.

My opinion about pop-ups.. Pop-ups suck. I like banner rotation better

ha ha... don't get me started with internet advertising and web design as a whole. I am working on a plan for that...

but I do think it would be cool with the interaction. it would have to be done in a way that is kewl, not bothersome.

I cant use fx or windows blinds so I wouldnt be able to access these webpages so i would be left out

Like "moving the web outside of the window"? As in "navigation on the window borders"? Could be good. Until the money hungry bastards get a hold of it ofcourse.

sure you woul;d be able to access the pages, you just wouldn't see the specail pop up buttons that would show when the user goes to that site.
Maybe the website has to say this windowblinds uses a specail feature so you would know it has these buttons only when you go to a specific site by the creator of the skin. you can turn it off in the advanced area of WindowBlinds.
I can see use abuse issues in it though... I have already seen some lame skins made for commercial use that look crappy and lack any design or art to it.
This is why I am so determained to start a community award and design wacth for internet advertising and web design. Hopefully we will show companies and avertisers that if you make intelegent, fun, educational designs you might just find a better market AND make the internet a better place to go to.
Just say NO to crappy designs and crappy popups that don't say nothin...
