Summation?
Nobody need hate or despise him (JM) for I certainly don’t even after all that was said, I have forgiveness in my heart because I believe innately that everyone has good in them and even though I didn’t ever get an apology from him…I don’t hold it against him nor do I think anyone at WC should either. Yes, I was deeply wounded but I have healed.
This is a great place to be, and Brad (Frogboy) worked hard to make it that way as well as all of the wonderful Journeymen and administrators etc.
Jafo, I thank you too, for being so kind to me when I was hurting so badly and feeling heart broken inside.
Anyway, I won’t draw this out. Just remember there is SO much good in this world to be thankful for…so many people who touch people who touch people (echo, echo, echo) and it’s a damned beautiful place if ya ask me!
Love you all…hope you had a great Valentine’s Day.
-Angela
P.S. If anyone can send Fuzzy Logic some gourmet chocolate…I bet that would make his day!
*thinking happy thoughts for Fuzzy* BTW, I think Annie Lennox said it best:
How many times do I have to try to tell you
That I'm sorry for the things I've done
But when I start to try to tell you
That's when you have to tell me
Hey, this kind of trouble's only just begun
I tell myself too many times
Why don't you ever learn to keep your big mouth shut
That's why it hurts so bad to hear the words
That keep on falling from your mouth
Falling from your mouth
Falling from your mouth
Tell me...
Why
Why
I may be mad
I may be blind
I may be viciously unkind
But I can still read what you're thinking
And I've heard it said too many times
That you'd be better off
Besides...
Why can't you see this boat is sinking
Let's go down to the water's edge
And we can cast away those doubts
Some things are better left unsaid
But they still turn me inside out
Turning inside out turning inside out
Tell me...
Why
Tell me...
Why
This is the book I never read
These are the words I never said
This is the path I'll never tread
These are the dreams I'll dream instead
This is the joy that's seldom spread
These are the tears...
The tears we shed
This is the fear
This is the dread
These are the contents of my head
And these are the years that we have spent
And this is what they represent
And this is how I feel
Do you know how I feel?
'Cause I don't think you know how I feel
I don't think you know what I feel
I don't think you know what I feel
You don't know what I feel...

I've been working on a long email to you.
But let me say this in short: (for me)
Few people in our "community" have been flamed as much as I have. I've been accused of everything from child molestation to being a "convicted" felon. And that's amongst the nicer insults I've received.
Few things that I post aren't looked at by someone somewhere as having some dire, evil ulterior motive. If I try to do something nice, it is still turned into something evil (GUI Olympics, releasing ObjectDock as freeware, etc.).
Even ideas that aren't mine (such as having "Lord" as one of the honorific titles) are prescribed as having come from me and thus verifying my villainy.
Suffice to say, I get flamed. Daily. Somewhere, sometime, I have someone saying that I'm a horrible terrible human being. Whether that be some OS/2 user on Usenet calling me a "traitor to OS/2" or a private email from an angry user who claims that each day he prays that I die of cancer (I kid you not).
The point is, on the Internet, the only one who can control how you feel about things is you. People who anger you or upset you in various ways have absolutely no real power over you unless you give them that power.
The more popular you are, the more you post the more you will find someone, somewhere who objects to your existence. There's nothing you can do about that. No matter how nice or how kind or how logically you try to put the case that you are not a terrible horrible no good very bad person, there will still be people who will negatively interpret everything you say and do.
In short, don't let others control how you feel. Don't give people that power. This is especially true when you are doing something that is purely for enjoyment. Whether that be skinning or chatting on a website or hanging out with your friends, it's for fun. It's not important enough to allow it to control how you feel. Just enjoy yourself and don't spend precious free time and energy trying to change things that can't be changed. Instead, focus on what you enjoy and trying to be the best person you can be.

). Eventually, this will be but a distant memory. Perhaps even something that will be chuckled over, in a few years. I've always found it amazing, the capacity that people have to forgive, forget and move on.
Looking forward to your participation in the messageboard again, it was definitely not the same without you.
