Unauthorized Skins

Found a site http://www.xpstyles.de today that contains many skins (especially Sysmetrix and StylesXP) that don't even have the name of the author in the info. Found my Sysmetrix ports in there and for example Treetogs Copperdeck II for Sysmetrix. Dropped them a line in the forum, but You perhaps want to take a look there. Unfortunately the site is in german and You have to lock on before being able to view the skins.

The author of the site doesn't even know what "Rips" are... 
He says someone sent him the files by mail and he uploaded them. Seems to be pretty newbie. I also have the impression that people are able to upload every skin they want there and that no moderation takes place in any way. So what to do ? Going the hard way and ask for removing the skins or give permission ?

I don't consider myself that good, as a side-note. I mainly do ports, no big thing. What if the next upload is an exclusive skin like Universe Metal or PixOS ? I aksed him to delete all skins without author-info as a first step.

Although images are freely available for download on the Internet, they are EXPRESSLY for personal use, which does not include the reproduction and redistribution of them via another site such as yours.
The modification, and/or re-distribution of an artist's images without his/her express permission is in violation of the Artist's Copyright, and is pursuable in law.
Whether these images link to the original artist's site or not, or whether the Original artist is credited or not, without prior permission to display such, you are in violation of inherent and/or expressed copyright.
I strongly suggest you remove any such images for which you do not have permission to display via verification of aurthor, and minimize the potential for litigation against you and subsequent claims for loss.
I await your favourable response.

I spent ages looking and trying to find those skins you mentioned, only to then realise that I was looking at their irritating full page pop-up ad.
