Space.... and people on Mars

Saturday, February 8, 2003 by joetheblow | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I always though having a Moon station was dangerous considering that space objects hit the Moon all the time. I do think a space station would be more productive. On the moon there could be a away station for emergencies and safe harbor from space showers or a ship needing help.

A Mars station seems to me a great focus for NASA. There could be a colony there and be relatively safe. 3 stations between Mars and Earth would be safe.

Instead of a space shuttle, there would be a focus on a space plane that takes off like a plane and coasts up to space and changes to rocket or other propulsion power.

I think many things should be solved here on Earth though, but by 2200 space travel should really start and hopefully we as a human race would have reached maturity in some way.

So as far as my schedule for space travel, I think we should focus on a new shuttle program and new propulsion systems. Inter-planetary travel is the new focus. Away stations, new experiments and space on the human condition will also be priorities.

I love space and space travel. Not sure if we as humans deserve to explore that yet without owning up to problems on Earth and a habit to destroy stuff.

What does the message board say of this?

As the president of the UN my focus will be on free education, shelter and food for all human kind. Period. But somewhere in my mind I would hope we could do a community space endevor and go to Mars.

by the way we are always traveling into the future that is why time passes

Oh ! martin, if you'd like to have something to consider that might be new to you, try this, I've been working it over for a couple of years now and came up with some parts of it, but, the more the more likely.

If you had an means of causing a counter revolution against the earths revolutionary direction, at the point it went one revolution faster, you would have null g.

You would have to put such a thing into a Gimbel stanchion, base, with adequate sensors so it could keep true equatorial plane with the earth through the seasons and what not, that our you'd end up with human jelly all over the walls. so null G would and could be sustained. Direction propulsion could be of a means to repulse the magnetic fields of the earth, though with the sun spots and such that is not the best solution. There has to be another better suited to the task.

I've looked into designs of centrifuges but the lack the stability and speed, a super collider would do it, but I doubt you could shrink one enough, though maybe?

anyway, what I am thinking of is gravitational lift and planetary propulsion based upon the magnetic fields criss crossing the planet.

might sound silly, I guess it does sound silly, but at the same time I think possible...

also most other thing you want to know in life can also be explained by a man named stephen hawkins you should look him up and listen and read all by this man, richard feynman also give great knowledge as well good night all if I dont go to sleap now I will never sleep

I assume null g means no gravity right well this is impossible to answer for no one know why gravity is the way it is, question tho what do you plan on achievein with this movein the planet????

martin, no not a movie, but actual experiments done by NASA and the USAF...

They engineered two identical clocks which were the closest matched time pieces on this planet then and now.

They put on in a super sonic jet and one on the ground, they hooked up a laser on the ground to track the jet and then flew it balls to the wall and checked time against time, there was an actual deviation of time recorded and recreated on a number of other passes, proving that speed against time changes times, it has to give. Which is the proof of Einstein's theory of on time travel and relativity.

oh yeah i know about that and i am not talkin about a movie there was a set of experiments called the philidelphia experiments in wich they say they sent some navy personel into the future we can talk on this when we chat for now i must sleep

and the reason that the time changed on jet is because time is relative it is dependend on the speed of observer

we many travel into the future and that is why time passes, but we do not normally make it pass as fast as we like.

Meaning if they spent the money and *time* we could actually not have to guess what the future holds, if we could then figure out how to send that information back, which is where teleportation of light could come in handy for exploration of space and time...

So ms Delisious I owe you an apology, I did not stop to put that part together, you were quit correct. Teleportation of light could very well be a means od deep spave exploration, or a part of it. FTL ( Faster than Light) communications would be key in such an endevor..

do you know that there are particles in a nuculear reactor that are going faster than the speed of light, they give off a blue hue it is in the water that they use to cool the nuculear rods

thats cool, I researched that a bit.. found some odd things about it from both sides, the ones who believe it and the government who denies it.. something doesn't quit fit...

I've seen some pictures of it or something similar. and you are right it all is very relative, the question is how to make it a relative means you can cradle. No one could ever honesty control or contain such a thing, but maybe push and guide it to do your bidding is possible.

Hell we here how cells are not to a point of production, and yet Mitsubeshi has a cell carr that travels at 70 mph on the highway for 250 miles and tkae only 15 minutes for a full vchagre from a dead charge...
