I hope you aren't implying warez... you don't want longhorn anyways... why would you want an incomplete operating system where nothing works anyways??? .... so i can upload fake screen shots of junk that probably ins't even associated with the OS... come on now....

If you do happen to be implying Warez though, I'll be happy to send you a copy of Longhorn, as long as you don't mind it being in the form of floppy disks, because I don't have a CD-R drive.

da_zaman20, "why would you want an incomplete operating system where nothing works anyway?" .... Longhorn Alpha or Beta must be no different to any other Microsoft release!
Must be ready for release if it is the way you describe it ...

Actually I was expecting him to cover the expense of the floppies. It shouldn't be much. I'll simply need about 500 floppies, which will cost around $250. It's pocket change, especially if you search in other people's pockets.

it's incomplete because it's still in the alpha stage... the alpha stage of win xp was identical to win 2000 accept for the slight redesign of the interface... which later was replaced with luna anyways... it's doesn't incorporate the new file system properly yet... and the new features all have logo's and options to show they are there... but none of them work anyways... is that the answer you were looking for??? or did you want the it's microsoft nothing is ever complete answer... look at windows me.. who ever decided to put that on the market needs to be shot... ... even the final release was incomplete...

have you noticed your MSN messenger notifying you of the XP updates lately?

Though, Technet / MSDN membership is nice for playing have to keep at least one box kicked in a corner to play around with the PR's on.

If you really want Longhorn, it's a saloon near Blackcomb and Whistler in British Columbia, Canada.

(Bet you didn't know that the MS people were sitting around after a day of skiing, getting drunk and at the same time designing XP(Whistler), Blackcomb and now Longhorn. No wonder they're sometimes such quirky OS's. )

For real da_zman20. Here's a link to the Blackcomb site too.

Perhaps there was a hidden message when they codenamed them all after ski resorts....like "it's all downhill from here".
