In the late eighties I bought a diamond gold ring
for $650.oo,
Six months ago I took it to the jeweler who advertised
the best price for used jewelry.
They offered me $46.oo for it.
I took it to the local pawn shop and they gave me $50.oo.
That is a $600.oo transaction fee,
I guess the money is in the fees.
