I don't know about anyone else, but I am using the latest IconPackager on Windows 8.1 and it works just fine, no issues for me at all.

Good info to know, Tom. I'm still running Win7 on all my machines. I do dual boot 8.1 on my main rig but never use it except for troubleshooting other systems running it. I just reserved Windows 10 on my secondary rig.

From the IP product pages here https://store.stardock.com/product/ESD-SDS-W443 I don't see where IconPackager is even claiming to be Win8.1 compatible.
Supports Windows 7, Vista, and XP.
