Customizing Shellstyles content?

Monday, February 3, 2003 by mr.bo | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

hey there folks,

Does anyone know of a program that can customize shellstyles content? I like the idea of the task pane, but I wish I customize it to my liking.

If I understand your question, Windowblinds 3.90b does this. It's an Alpha of WB4, which includes the shellstyles, command prompt, etc.

or a program called FolderXp... almost impossible to get to work with XP, and if you have SP1, no way... .... but virtualplastic.com... says how to make a custom one... tried it out... but it will be more like the webview from windows me...

werewolf,

Thanks for the reply, but I am talking about customizing the content of the task pannels, not the backgrounds. I want to change the links, move the task panels order, have certain panels not show for certain forlders. That sort of thing.

da-zman,

I'll have to try that FolderXP thingie. I browsed through the Webview section at VP a while back, but knowing nothing about DHTML, I am leary about editing things myself, or just thowing premade stuff up. I'm kinda hoping somone comes out with a WYSIWYG editor that handles .HTTs Thanks for the suggestions.
