toon-xp leaked on the net

I got very angry and upset when i today saw at an site that toon-xp has been leaked for free on the net. This is so amazing fun suite, i can't understand why they do not pay the small amount of money it cost >

It's true that the serials are attached to the "purchaser". It's pretty easy to find the person who "releases" this stuff once we see a serial number. Unfortunately, this is nothing new to us. I'm sure that somebody could have a full time job fighting warez.

Honestly, while this isn't a good thing at all, does it honestly come as a surprise to anybody? *sighs* I don't like it, and I was angry when I heard it (and I haven't even bought Toon-XP yet! I /do/ want those icons though... argh!) but it wasn't the slightest bit of a surprise to me. :/

I have been looking very hard for this toon-xp leak and I have yet to find it on the net. I went and bought toon-xp as soon as it was available, but was curious to see what site was offering it for free. I even went on warez, but that site is such crap! It's just a bunch of useless popups and so much pornography.

I think it is a bad idea to spread the word of where you can find pirated apps... the only ones that need to know are wincustomize, pixtudio and stardock.

We are working on it. It's on a server that they hacked into and they guy who has the server doesn't even know what ftp is. We are trying to walk him through it. I believe that Larry is also contacting others that we found and has "case files" open with them. This stuff takes a bit of time to get fixed, but it will hopefully be fixed soon.

hate to say it, but maybe it should pull an ET PHONE HOME when installed to check back against a database of valid serial numbers against purchasing names?
