How to add sub-designs via SkinStudio?

I’ve finished up with one “color” of my skin for WindowBlinds, but I want to add two more “colors”, or sub-designs, so when the user clicks on the new skin in the sub-design drop down they will be able to select a “color”… is this possible or do I have to use masking to get this done?

if you want to do it in the drop down you could make a compond skin
