So how does one get to be an apprentice, journeyman, etc.?

From what I understand it is not a specific science. Hang out here, help people out, become a positive influence, skin something. That sort of thing...

I think how you become an apprentice is you spit in your palms and rub 'em together and hold them up to the moon...then dance in a grass skirt around a fire and chant, "Hail Stardock" for one fortnight or until your arms fall off (whichever comes first) hehe.
