This has been mentioned before - let me see if I can remember exactly what happens. It has something to do with the way Windows and Windowblinds interact together. When you switch to the 'classic' skin - windows resets your taskbar down to the default size - and Windowblinds, or at least Windows, resets to classic every time WB loads, or you change your skin.

I hate this too - since I keep a double-high taskbar.

Anybody - feel free to correct me! I think I got the gist of it right - but I don't fully remember.

you got it right But, you don't need WB to see this (I don't think). If you have the MS Luna theme going, and a doubleheight taskbar, XP switches to Windows Classic mode which looses the doubleheight taskbar. I believe it's strictly a WinXP problem (?)

Nope, Werewolf, I'm afraid kthxbye has got it Xactly right on this one.

Regular XP LUNA (or its two other cheesy color choices ) never resets my doubled up taskbar when I restart.

Oh, ok...I knew that if you stayed in luna there wasn't a problem, but there was something about the fact that XP had to switch to classic mode which was causing the problems. Live and learn I don't have XP yet, but I'm working on it.

Nope - sorry Hagens - if there's anything that can be done, nobody knows about it yet!

Now - I think I'll be stunned by the fact that I not only remembered the cause of that little problem - but that I was able to remember it so early, before I've had any coffee!
