Cross-referenced account still at Level 2
Wednesday, January 15, 2003 by ScruffyGuy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Unless I'm missing something, Level 2 is for folks who have not purchased a Stardock product. Level 3 is supposed to provide unlimited downloads at WinCustomize for those who have purchased a Stardock product. Since I already followed the FAQ advice, I'm posting here to see what you folks have to say. There seems to be no "Contact Us" option on this site to reach anyone at WinCustomize directly. Have recent changes been made and those who purchase a product are still restricted? It doesn't seem as if this is an issue to take to Stardock... I enjoyed Icon Packager, and since I can't afford much else, I bought at least SOMETHING to support the site. I love the artwork here and want to continue to be a member of the community.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I better end this on a happy note...
Firstly, my pwecious kitty whom I love so much and gives me so much love and adoration is doing GREAT. Gee, now we are both on pills (
)... Poor baby...Secondly, I had a great dream last night...I dreamt I ate chocolate and then rode naked on a horse with a mystery man. LMAO! Hey, it was a dream, I don't know how it got there!
Thirdly, life is so very short folks, let's try to make it worth every damned minute that we have! Eh? (((HUGS)))
Love you all...
Angela

Admittedly, I'm a computer "half-geek" -- you know, not quite a TOTAL nerd, but working hard to change that!
I've been posting to message forums since long before the net was ever CALLED the net. Anyone remember BBSs with the purty green or amber text scrolling in front of you? Ah, the wonder of new technology!
Message boards are much like anything else in life -- you gotta give respect to get it in return. I see no point in jumping into a new arena and bashing everyone who has been there prior to me. If I have a question, I'll ask, simple as that. I've found over the years that most folks out there are more than willing to help, and will even go out of their way to do so. That's pretty cool, if you ask me. My Xupiter blunder and the resulting fixes provided here is a good example.
At the moment, I'm rather poor, but I've always loved PC graphics and 3D rendering especially. Hopefully one of these days I can dabble with that and contribute to the site. Meanwhile, I'll certainly enjoy all the fantastic work that is available here. Lots of you folks work hard on your submissions, and you should know it does NOT go unappreciated. I've found wallpapers here that are truly digital works of art. I will probably make a few random appearances on the boards, but I do internet advice column stuff much more often, which takes up some of my spare time. If you don't hear from me, I'll be lurking somewhere out there!
Thanks again for the help -- and I agree -- it wouldn't be a bad idea to mention the email address SNAFU in the FAQ. SOME folks actually READ FAQ's before spamming message boards!
. Glad no one flamed me for not finding the answer right away -- although I've been flamed by the best of them, so a little singe now and then doesn't hurt!Best to all of you...
