This just came up last week or so, but I can't find the thread at the moment. Anyway, it gets skinned by WindowBlinds. I use it every day.

TabLaunchPad is a tabbed interface that allows you to organize your shortcuts (instead of having them slapped all over your desktop). It is a very useful app. which has been around since Object Desktop for OS/2

It's right there in the ObjectDesktop Component Manager. I couldn't find a link to a demo or anything though.

If you right click in tab launch pad and hit properties it opens a window with settings .I'll have to explore this stuff.

When I found the TabLaunch, I didn't realize what the other items were when I was looking through all the settings in Component manager. But now I know.

Right clicking on Tablauncher will bring up a menu. Click properties and it's all there it's set up more or less like Control Center's options dialog. You can add, remove, rename and reorder your tabs in there. Sometimes it goes buggy and throws your shortcuts on the wrong tab when you do that though. You can also turn off the titlebar, set it to autohide, and choose a hotspot to pop it up. I like to disable the tray and taskbar icons for it and have it pop up in the bottom left corner where my start menu would be... if I didn't have my taskbar hidden

The app doesn't seem to get a lot of priority update wise, it's been the same ever since I first saw it. But it does what it's supposed to do and that's good enough for me. The reason there's no demos is because it's one of those extra toys you get with object desktop.

Delicious...I take it that you like TabLaunchPad?
I can't give any details, but I think that all you OD users (especially TabLaunchPad users) are going to have a good time with the next year of Object Desktop.

*BIG* improvements. Fun stuff... I'm *so* excited about it!

Tab Launchpad makes the desktop so clean looking. Why have a nice background and have icons scattered all over it. Makes no sense.

A program like TL doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

It is like the swishing of a happy cat's tail.
