Great times, I remember trying to skin that dog image using some dark XML files back in the day!

Perhaps a clever blind skinner could add an animated search avatar. ![]()

It's a bleaker computer world these days....all the fun dried up when we lost those annoying 'assistants'...![]()

I hadn’t used Windows XP in years.
I haven't used XP since Vista came out... and still prefer not to, though I installed om an old AMD rig mid-last year for games that don't like Vista or beyond... eg: the Myst and Riven series. Hmmm, it has been a long time since I played anything, PC-wise, maybe I ought to get into playng games again.
As for the dog and 'Clippy', can't say that I miss 'em, though something more interesting than the circular 'busy/searching' cursor that appears onscreen in Win 7/8 wouldn't go astray. Even the stupid dog doing stupid shit would be more interesting than that... though it may spark a new generation of 'the dog ate my homework' excuses.

I miss the cat from Word 2000.
Open Office needs a cat, or a dog. At this point, I'd settle for a paperclip.
