Download one, that is as brief as I can get. You can go to MSN.com and download the SDK file (it tells you how to do it)to your printer and go from there, but you'd better have a lot of paper.

Put 'briefly'...it takes time and effort...there IS no 'easy' way.
Step one....less of the 'puke' icon, and more of the polite response.
Step two....try modifying an existing skin to see how it works.
Step three....create one entirely using your OWN images...and upload it.
