the Mountain Lake here is about to fill with Snow
would make for some great scenery shots !! .. 
What's the one thing you really really want for Christmas ????

There's no "just one thing"
I have a whole shipload of wants, likes and needs right now.
At the top of the list is a permanent abode of my own to call home.

Long time no see, hope all is well with you and yours.
a lack of lower mobility issue would be nice.
That, too. I'd certainly love to be more mobile/able to get around better. After having to shift twice in just a couple of months I'm still recovering. Some days it takes me all my time just to get out of bed, such as it is with my hips and lower back.
The other thing I love for X-mas is for Tony Abbott [Oz PM] to walk past and catch/take my vertigo and motion sickness issue... bastard deserves it far more than I do. In fact, he can give it to his whole insufferable party.

Well, it would take me hours to list everything I would wish for, and absolutely none of it would be for me, but ...
My main wish would be for every single human being on this planet to stop killing others when there is absolutely no valid reason for it.
My secondary wish would be that the entire world get rid of its dependency on fossil fuels and anything that produces harmful waste or gases that are destroying this planet. We need to develop more in the way of solar and other alternative power/transportation sources if this planet is to survive.
My list would go on and on ...
EDIT: Actually there is one thing I'd like. I'd like a billion dollars so that I could give it away to those in need. I already do that now when I can, but being able to do it whenever the need was there would be absolutely fantastic!
