As far as I'm concerned, ObjectDesktop was one of my favorite gifts this year. Productivity, eye-candy, and fun, all in one digital package! This stuff is worth so much more than the price!

There always seems to be someone pouting about how "horrible" this site and Stardock is. If you don't like it, leave. Complaining about something like how "expensive" this site is is not productive. BTW, Stardock ROCKS!

A polite interpretation of the original post.
"I remember when this place was free...." = I recall a time when the good people of WinCustomize/Stardock took care of all the expenses of running this place and allowed me the privilege of downloading all I wanted at no cost to myself.
"bunch of money grubbing people" = a group of practical people who inevitably reached a level of financial burden that warranted looking at alternative ways of financing this site, and who came to fair and intelligent solution.
"I remember when this place was free...." = I recall a time when the good people of WinCustomize/Stardock took care of all the expenses of running this place and allowed me the privilege of downloading all I wanted at no cost to myself.
