Supercave Found in China
now this is the sort of stuff that fascinates me

I found this article on Yahoo7 and was immediately drawn to it. I love unusual geological features and this supercave in China fits the bill.
It is potentially the largest cave discovered thus far, and hasn't fully been explored, yet boasts one single chamber of 380 million cubic feet.
That is farkin' massive, and with 45 metre tall stalagmites it would surely be a sight to behold.... if only I could travel there to see it.
I spent many a day exploring caves where I grew up in Devon, England, but those would pale into insignificance compared to this subterranean monster

Take a peek at Son Doong in Viet Nam - reported as the world's largest so far.

Same here, I'd love to see both caves up close and personal, but my opportunities are limited by my health and mobility issues, so I must satisfy myself with documentaries and articles such as these.
Thing is, I've visited some pretty impressive caves in the UK, Australia and New Zealand in my lifetime, so it's not like I've missed out entirely.
In fact, I am thankful for many natural [and man made] wonders I've seen throughout the world, so if I never see the pyramids or the Grand Canyon I can't complain..... though it would absolutely thrill me to bits, that before I departed this mortal coil, I copped an optic of Dolly Parton's t!ts.

I saw that article too and just now discovered this thread. And I thought Carlsbad was big. Whew!
