Screen Resolution

I have been downloading themes and playing around for the last two weeks. I find some skins seem to slow down the system alot. Others are great. Is this normal. Other thing, when I install Logon screens some are small, is there a way to get them larger. SoI ws wondering people what are there screen configuration. I would like to keep myself stanard with everyone.

But you'll find most stuff is 1024x768 which is why I don't use them...

So let me get this straight, nobody uses 800 x 600 at all anymore.

I'm using 800x600 on a 17 inch monitor, my stuff looks great and it doesn't slow my system down at all.

1920x1440 32 bit usualy but if I wanted 2048x1536 at 32bit - and yes Bigger is better
