Can't shutdown!

My pc won't shutdown unless I turn off desktopx beforehand. Is there any way for me to shut my comp off when using desktopx?

charles, 1 suggestion, hit the big P-O-W-E-R button 
But i've this problem too, at my compu it begin when i begane using logon studio.
just unninstal that prog.

Hmm well I updated desktopx and it fixed the prob.

I've downloaded and installed the latest version of Bootskin.
From time to time, when I choose Hibernate under Windows XP home french edition, the computer doesn't do what I want it to do. I had to restart it.
Has someone still encountered this problem ?

I never had that problem but I do have the problem of if I turn off or try and change my windows blinds I am unable to get my e-mail. For some reason it just keeps given me errors.

I use to have trouble shutting down Win 98 with the start menu. I had to use the CAD to shut down.
