I forgot to say that if iespell tells you that a word is spelled wrong, you can open the dictionary and it will have displayed the word you spelled wrong and a list of what it thinks the word might be.

I have had Wordweb for a couple years and found it very handy mostly for the Thesaurus.
There are additional dictionaries for that I think.
I found it a long time ago at ZDNet downloads.

I was real happy to find it because sometimes I can't think of the right word. A lot of stuff I write is convoluted at times, trying to find some word that I just can't think of. I type gibberish and this thing gives me some selection when iespell gives up. They claim this is an update. I can type in tree and it gives me a list of types!

It just came to me that I have been thinking that Wordweb was well known so I thought maybe I would share a link to the best notepad replacement that is out thar.
This will open any file including the index.dat file which is locked by windows.
It is a shareware for 10 dollarenos and well worth the cost.

goodmorphing thinks since links are flying far and wide... here (http://users.chello.be/cr41007/index.html) is the best sticky-note program I have ever seen. It is free and has bunches of functions. You can even put pics on the flip side! And alarms.
