Changing application BG color in WB?

Wednesday, November 20, 2002 by Shakey (the Original) | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Is there a setting that allows you to change or over-ride color schemes set by a Windowblinds skin? To be specific, I downloaded and would love to use "Ultraviolet", but the dark background in apps such as Internet Explorer and Word are just to hard on my eyes. I have tried using the "Colour Overrides" option under the advanced skin options, but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

In WindowBlind Settings, under Enhance Desktop Elements, you can uncheck "apply the skins color scheme(recommended)". Since it is recommended to keep on i dont know what kind of effect you will have

Thanks, elvee. That does the trick, but unfortunately it also removes the color scheme from the toolbars as well. I'll keep piddling with it and see what I can work out.
