I want to use this skin, but unfortunetaly the Start Menu is far too narrow. How would I go about fixing it?
Many thanks.

I actually linked it in the message, click on "this" in the first sentence. I'm using 7 x64 with the latest version of WB.

That's an XP only WB from 2005 so it would need a lot more than just the start menu fixed before it would work right on Win7 or 8.1
@DaveBax: The OP linked to the skin.

Well the Start Menu is the only problem I have with it. Everything else seems to be fine.

OPPS, my bad.
Here are a couple links with up to date WB's. Styles aren't the same but color is close. They are also well put together by one of our Masters.(Lightstar)

I installed it and had a look at it to see if it was margins or images. Looks like it's images. You would need to open it up in SkinStudio and edit all the start menu images in an image editor such as Photoshop.
It is a rather nice-looking skin.
Edit- Scratch that. He has set specific image widths on them. So you can open it up in SkinStudio and edit Startmenu / Specific Pieces / Extra Settings Tab / "Width of part" line and set it to "0" or specify a specific value. You might have to dink around with them a little bit.

Hmm looks like if you set the width of the top part to "0" it then disregards the height specification and paints it at the default height too (at least on XP) which you probably don't want. May have to set a specific width and height for that piece.
Like I said, "You may have to dink around with them a little bit."

The problem's been fixed. LightStar told me how to adjust the width of the Start Menu images and it came out perfect.

For those who want to know, it was basically telling Red_Machine to set the top and bottom image widths to 490 and the height to the actual height of the image itself. Then set the left panel to 290 width and the right panel to 200 in width. These are done in the Extra Settings area of each image. You set both areas in Extra Settings in SkinStudio for each image. Width of part and Width of part (old), etc. Simple 2 minute fix.
Oh, and the All Programs image was set to a 290 width and height of 30 also.

A screen shot of the startmenu may help. The name of the WindowBlind would help. How old is the WB and what OS are you using.
However if it is to narrow for you I doubt it would get fixed by the person that made. You wouldn't just fix something like that. The SM would have to be completely made over.
