Actually, the same dialog with the toolbar options, etc., popped up here after clicking the normal in-browser update popup, but 'skipping' the detritus was no problem.  As long as you have the option to avoid the extra baggage, I have no issue with Mozilla accepting a little financial support from Yahoo.

Yep, if i want a slow, bloated over hyped crappy browser i will be sure to use FF. But i prefer a browser that works. FF sucks, it's always sucked and will continue to suck in the future. just sayin'

Yeah, if you're gonna have a bitch about something you might as well let rip 100% and say all that you really feel... don't try getting the point across with half-measures or blunted barbs that have little or no impact.  And if you need to use rude words to describe and/or vent, there are some very good replacements, like fech, for example, that should see you get into less trouble with management.

BTW, 'tis good to see you around... I hope all is well with you and yours.

It works fine for me and my 1200 tabs though.

now with a touch-friendly Office released for the iPad, shouldn't the headline be Microsoft puts Metro on the shelf?

The MSO iPad apps function as "Office Readers", unless you have a 360 subscription.  Not a stick in the eye, but not terribly useful by themselves, though I suppose you could put some Office docs on your iPad just to look at them or show them off.
