Installing themes and suites

Hello all -

This is my first time to this site and I've downloaded some of the themes for the winstyles library. I'm trying to give my desktop a new look. My question is: how do I install these .xptheme and .suite files? Do I need to download other programs to make these work? A couple of the files I've downloaded are Pixtudio.suite and CrystalBlue.xptheme

Yes you need to download other programs to make them work. Go to Stardock.com and you'll find out all you need to know. Also look at the top of the WC page of the skins your dl'ing and the associated program info is there.

Thanks for responding Old Crab. To make sure I'm understanding you correctly, for example I downloaded the Pixtudio theme - does that mean I have to download the following programs? Objectbar, DesktopX and NextStart themes, Windowblinds, Winamp, IconPackager, CursorXP, IcqPlus, Beatnik, LogonXP skins..

Yes, but go to Stardock.com and try the shareware before buying! Some are from other Web sites unrelated to Stardock. Good hunting!
