I think your #1 is on the menu you are showing as you have arrows but no numbers stating what the arrows are.

#1 to change the check marks and arrows. Edit menus and menubars/popup menus icons (checkbox, radio. Change that graphic.

#2 ans #3 Edit Explorer Parts/ Command bar/buttons/ Extra settings. Change color in extra settings.

Hi Jazlan, I believe you can change that image in Edit Explorer/IE Shell Parts. Additional Explorer Sections, Drop down Background. There are several other items in that section you can change too.  As far as the text colors in the Libraries area though, sadly they cannot be change. Hope this helps you out.

Sorry to contradict you on this one Tom, but It can be Changed by fiddeling with selected text-color. Strange, but true

arrow count is from left to right

DaveBax its is not using Popup menu Background, coz I did skin that part but it not show up on this one.

LightStar its is not using Additional Explorer section Drop down background either coz i skin that part too yet it did not show up there...

As for arrow 2 and 3.

DaveBax changing there don't work for me...

LightStar are you sure it can't be change at all coz on my Sonix14 that font is at light green..while this one is blue.. i am sure we can change it before when I design my sonix07 back in 2007.

Anyway thanks guys..

It is selected item color , not text.

Under change colors,  change skin defined presets in sks 7. something.

Funny how it works to alter the color.

The color you choose is somehow mixed with the default color creating a whole new color. Brightness or darkness have no effect though.

IE:

Dark red or light red would show up as purple. so playing with the color and checking it is irritating at first.

I believe the default is green , so figure your color by that.

red and yellow make orange

  red and green make purple.

Hope that helps.

And cool looking skin, master.

In "Change skin colours"

Well, sorry for the edit and confusion, but I am an apprentice.

But, after actually making sure this time, , it is the selected item color affecting both text areas.

The word Libraries is colored how I described in my first post, the other text appears as a darkened or slightly translucent color somewhat changing the shade of the color you pick, but not exactly matching the top half.

Again, sorry and Andy, if I am wrong I mean no disrespect, same if I am right, just trying to help. Cheers all,DT!

Andrew and Brian you are correct however what you end up with is some shade of Red usually dark or a Green. Also it only changes 2 titles. Document Library and Folder color.

My opinion only is to use a light color graphic there. It may not be a perfect match to what one is looking for but seeing the text is the most important thing to me.

1st arrow still need some pointers.
"Edit menus & menubars" -Popup menus -Background.

Define the "Favourite menus" too as they cannot have transparency

Yup that part is clear we can always change that but not like other menu where we can change the total look of the background.

thanks.

Well there are several parts like that in SKS. You asked where to change it and I told you. -How to improve Sks so those parts are "Skinnable" is a matter for Neil Banfield

OK, but if you change the Selected Item text color just to work with the Libraries text, you may screw up several other areas of your skin, so be aware.

...and wow! I change the color to be orange just to test, and it comes out a red color, blue becomes green, another lovely SKS8 bug.
