Cursor XP (Pro) problem

Thursday, October 31, 2002 by c242 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

The text tool is very often very inprecise for me when it comes to marking text (in Word or notepad, etc.) for copying or cutting. Anyone else has this problem ? I am using the 'Pro Tools' scheme. Without Cursor XP loaded, it works just fine, so it can't be a mouse or driver issue...

Sometimes I have that problem with "fat" text cursors. If it's in a set I particularly like, I just change it to a thin one.

Sometimes it is one line out of space... And ProTools has an extremely thin text-cursor... But nevertheless thanks for a first answer.

well, I tried to duplicate your problem using ProTools, but it seems to be on target here. Sorry I can't be of more help.

It may be that the hotspot is set incorrectly (from your perspective). You can change it in the control panel.
