Orion Icon Suite !

Wednesday, October 30, 2002 by c242 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Immedietly after reading the WC newsletter I purchased the ORION icon suite. All I can say is 'Wow !' . Mormegil did an incredible job on these suites, they are worth every cent. Now I know, why we haven't heard much of him the last few weeks.

brazil: If you have that option choses on your wincusto account, you should get a newsletter. I don't always get them though and I think others have that problem. Here's the link though...

why not available for all, without payment, as the Fauxs icons?
>
I dislike this! Where are the times of free skins?
I think that a payment for a skinning program is just, specially when it is charged with innovative and lots of features, but not for skins!!!

This is not a direct message to Paul Boyer, this is a message for all payable suites and skins.

I very dislike this, specially when i'm updating my icons (i wish to make new icons, but the community is requesting enhancements and addons of my icons) and i'm near to make them as GNU policu available!

I disappoint and i'm beginning to think different about the skinning comunity: i will to be a part of this kind of comunity?

Shit! I received money making special icons, but i decided to no make more special icons, just for not boring the icons design...

Carlitus, this was something that Paul did for Stardock. There are over 1500 icons in these sets (you get six complete sets. The most complete sets I've ever seen) $8.00 is nothing for all that work. Imagine how much time it took to do all these. These icons aren't just plain ole icons. These have all been meticulously (sic?) done and are amazing. It's only $8.00. Don't know what else to say. I imagine there will be others who will say it better than I.

Carlitus, you know I respect you, but geez guy, get a grip. If I could skin like Renato, make icons like Paul, or you....... you can bet your butt, I would try to make a little cash. This will the first time I've paid for skins, or icons. I just have to have these, and I consider the price a bargain, and a way to say thanx for all that Paul has given freely.
Bottom line..........you don't have to like it, you don't have to buy them. Lighten up.

Question : Does anyone know where the Icons are being kept? I just downloaded all the sets & I wanted to change my Outlook icon on my desktop, but there is no theme folder in Iconpackager. >

montyXP: the themes are automatically installed in the iconpackager directories. Should be something like ...icon packager/themes/cobalt/

note that the themes do not contain the word Orion when viewing the folders in explorer.
