Saturday, October 12, 2013 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Community

OK, guys. Thoughts and prayers needed.

I begin my 2 week pre op diet consisting of clear liquids, on the 14th of Oct. 2 days before my birthday, btw.

Surgery on the 29th.

By the way, Lisa is down 72 pounds. She is doing great!

Thanks Andyroo!!   Now, just for the heck of it, I'll show you just how "on my toes" I am.

Had to have a few toenails removed and acid treated.  Ouch!

I did this almost a month ago, they still hurt.

I haven't been able to walk the track since and have regained 10 pounds.

Wow Jim , didn't realize that you were a Libra,  my birthday is on the 14th. But more importantly , I hope all goes well and I will remember you in my prayers.

I thought at first you had painted your toenail Jim, getting worried there for a minute.

Waiting to see what Doc comes up with. Hope the skinny tool has an easy learning curve. We all know how impatient Doc is to 'shop' stuff. lol

OK, Had my "last meal" tonight. A big juicy 18 oz. 2 inch thick NY Strip, marinated just right, and grilled to perfection on my patio.

Baked some fresh broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, taters, maters, celery, and onions, sprinkled with some good Italian seasonings, and parmesan cheese.

Topped off with some good lemon custard ice cream.

Liquids  only for the next 3 weeks.

Supposed to shrink the liver, so they can maneuver laparoscopically.
