WMP destroyed

Thursday, October 10, 2002 by Tiler1 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Can anyone point me in the right direction to show me how to fix my WMP on my Win2k machine? Installed WMP 9 beta and tried to reinstall WMP 7.1 but there was sound issues (as in there was no sound, but video was fine). Reinstalled 9 beta and now it crashes when trying to open any mvie, any sound file, etc. Any advice?

Thanks for the input. I uninstalled WMP again and also uninstalled any other codecs that I had put on the machine, then went to the HD tools and had the machine do a repair at startup. All seems to be working fine now - no crashes.

Yes, beta 9 is not ready for prime time yet. I wish there was still a version 8 for win2k, though.

Thanks...
