Melbourne Is The Most Liveable City Again...

Third year in a row, and that's a first for anyone.
And between Oz and Canada we have 7 of the top ten....![]()
There's something to be said for living in the 'best' place and just visiting cities like NY and London...
[it'd help though if they weren't so bloody far away]....![]()

As a Canuck I love Vancouver, but I'll take Melbourne/Adelaide/Sydney/Perth over it any day. ![]()

They let me in Gotta say, Sydney weather sure beats Vermont.
I'm an American, I can't switch to another country though because I'm getting military retirement and if I did I'd lose it but I can go dual citizen.

Livable cities, likeable people, plenty of desert.......what the heck am I doing here?

These cities are only winning because the really nice places are too small to get surveyed. Thank god I'm a country boy.

Yeah, as always, it's a subjective thing. Plenty of people don't like big cities, so the claim that even a place like Melbourne is more livable than, say, a smaller town with a lower cost of living, less impersonality (is that a word?), and a more immediate natural setting is a little laughable to them.
Personally, though, I like cities... anyone want to hire me in Melbourne? ![]()
