Text turns white

When I set a bmp or tga to my explorer's background and select to rename it all the text turns white so i can't see the text. Anyone know a fix? I set the back ground to a non white and it still happens. If you wish to see for yourself I'm using my slick skin on WB 7.42

The area below the sheet of the paper icon that's white Jim, I think that what the person is talking about as they are getting white text on white.

I tried changing the selected item text to other colors and it still happens, I also changed the selected highlight background no joy there.

Try changing the window background color in the skin settings. In the skin defined section. I see the text is white and some apps use the windows background color I believe for boxes and windows.

I tried changing the background color to a non white it didn't help.

I should also add that if I remove the bmp for explorer backgrounds the problem goes away. A bug in windowblinds perhaps?

Okay, I got your skin and when I open it in sks, I went to explorer backgrounds and any of the 4 bmp image you have, if you so much as highlight that area in sks, the text in the selection box{groupbox} becomes invisible, as you stated.
Now, I could not even open the bmp image in photoshop. Corrrrupted. I deleted the info in the code editor, made a new image and imported that image and seems to have fixed it, So, try that. sequence.

Iwould add that I saved the active glass image as a png, not a bmp, if it matters.
I also tried just making a new image and saving it as your image which also became corrupted, so I am guessing the code in relation to the skin got screwy and needed deleted and replaced. So do the above fix, delete code, delete image from file, make new, import and save, should fix it.
I also deleted all 4 images and replaced with the new, fyi.Active-inactive-activeglass-inactiveglass.

Sounds like your Selected Item Text in the text settings in SkinStudio is set to white text.
