First tab dock - [solved] :)
How to set tab positions
Sunday, July 28, 2013 by Uvah | Discussion: ObjectDock
This is my first try at making a tabbed dock. Question: How do I position the tabs? I tried the settings in the ini but they don't seem to affect it. Also there are different size tabs. Two are too small for the text. Help please.

Ross, the 4 you are talking about are the sides. The 2 smaller ones are the left and right sides and the 2 larger ones are the top and bottom.
If you want to do the best you can than send them to me I will see what I can do and than tell you where I changed the numbers. To many things to try and tell you now with the settings. When I have more time I will see if I can give you some of the main ones to change.
Was hoping Giz came in for you as he is the real master at these. If you wish take a look at my christmas 2012 tab docks and use them as a templete as they are lined up real good.

Ross, the tab size will be decided by the length of the text, if you have the margins set correctly. Then, once you do, if a tab isn't long enough for your text, drag the dock out longer, to accomodate. Otherwise, the text will be truncated.

Thank you Dave... I'll do what you suggested with the template. You'd think by now I'd know this stuff. Duh!
Thank you Jim...
I checked the margins and they're set correctly. I lengthened the dock and the text lines up as do the tabs. Now all I gots 'todo' is get the tiles and zoomers to work and I'm good to go. These are docks and a rainy for Werken.
