WindowBlinds 8.0.1.0

My update checking program says that there's a new update for Window Blinds, v. 8.0.1.0, but there's no option to update within the program and I couldn't find anything when I googled it. Could someone please point me to some info on this update and tell me how I get it ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, apparently it's a Beta which is why I didn't notice it at first.

The beta has some fixes in it. I have it installed and it works like a charm. When you view the galleries make sure the WB's you download are for Win 7 or 8. Vista skins will work on Win 7 if that's your OS. If you're running Win 8 then stick with the skins made for 7 or 8 as XP skins won't always work on 7. I'm running Win 7 64 bit.

Yes, I just installed and it works beautifully. They fixed a bug I posted about in another thread where there was a problem changing the desktop background color, important if you use walls less than full size. I didn't initially like the new UI but I have to admit it's kind of growing on me.

I have had problems with the 8 and have downgraded to 7, which was a real nuisance.
For some reason, unless the backgrounds are very dark, I have transparency issues on some of the programs that I normally have open. Whatever it is, it was time consuming to undo and at this time, I will not be using these upgrades, even though I have purchased them.

Go to Stardock.com/Store, sign in and go to your account. All of your downloads should be listed there including WB 8.01
