Me and my wife are off on a 4 week excursion. Going through Michigan ( to Pontiac for the obligatory visit with relatives) then on to Spokane Washington, (more relatives) and then finally down the California coast (this time, just for our own enjoyment 
)
Leaving in the morning around 10 am est. Catch you all in a month.
P.S. I tried to talk my wife into getting a laptop so I could continue logging on here every evening. That did not receive a warm reception.

Thanks all. Yeah WOM, the first 3000 will be a blur, but the rest will be fun, fun, fun, (until her daddy takes the T-bird away)

Just come down the coast from Oregon on 101 and you will be treated to some great sites. Trees that have a 2 lane road thru them. Have fun.

Have a good trip! Be sure you get your vehicle check out thoroughly first, yeah. Nothing like road trouble to make a visit with in-laws to look good.

Had the vehicle in yesterday for a complete going over. I lease the vehicle and it's only 6 months old. I don't think I'll have any problems. But, just in case, I have AAA/CAA and I'll have my cell phone with me. Thanks.

Have a great trip motion! It's a really beautiful drive, I've done it many times. WOM is right, the west coast is an awesome drive. Taking 101 South from Crescent City (just over the border from OR) adds a day to the trip but it's spectacular.
