Photoshop Tutorial: Layers

Saw this in Google News this morning.
I'm sure that veteran users of Photoshop understand the topic of layers. You can't do much in Photoshop without them: Certainly not non-destructively.
Anyway, I found a really good tutorial explaining layers to all.
Even advanced users can profit!

Really cute video but I am a big fan of keyboard shortcuts! Control J for duplicate layer, control T to resize control u for hue/saturation! There are many more but sure makes your work faster!

My most used:
shift/ctr/c = copy merged
ctr/n = new doc
ctr/x = paste
Note: shift/ctr/c is also the default toggle on/off for cursorfx......if you want to use that shortcut, you have to disable/assign a different one in cursorfx.

Which is for mac
Which is for both.
All you have to do is substitute Ctrl for Command, Alt (Windows) is the same as Option (Mac)and both are shown. Blue is Mac. Black is Windows.

An interesting observation. You say blue is Mac and black is Windows. In CS2 ctrl + D = deselect; ctrl + J = copy layer; ctrl + S = save. All these are blue so some of them are for both. The only difference being option or ctrl.

Ctrl+D is deselect in CS6 as well. Check the link in #10, Uvah.
