There has been plenty of value and functionality in ODNT since November, even for Win 8 adopters. Stardock introduced some great enhancements for the new OS. Just because you didn't get the one thing you wanted, all the rest meant nothing to you. Now you finally get what you were demanding at the time, WindowBlinds for Windows 8 and yet, you still find reason to be a malcontent. No train here, but the waaamubulance is waiting.

Quoting cordelia0507, reply 20 many of them removed In my opinion,It's a shame you didn't go with them.
Quoting cordelia0507, reply 20you should have read the fine print"You should have read, Period. You claimed you had no time for that. Strange that you seem to have plenty of time to complain and make accusations though.

Ok, right.
That's exactly what I would say if I was a paid Stardock evangelist. A lot of people here speak that way. Normal people who are not paid evangelists would ignore a rant, or agreed, As countless regular (non-groupies/evangelists) did.
It seems to be a complete shock to everyone here that normal consumers get angry if they feel they are not getting what they paid for, and not getting good customer service.I normally don't whinge about stuff I but my experience with Stardock has been on a downhill slope since my initial good experience back in 2006 or about then.
I'm having constant license trouble with Stardock products, and then the 8 month wait for a beta version of Windowblinds with no offer for a refund after I politely raised my complaints. Since Stardock obviously doesn't care much about keeping me as a customer I won't be troubling it with my tiresome business once my subscription expires.

Wizard is neither normal or a paid Stardock evangelist. Just saying....

First and foremost, I am not paid by or represent Stardock in any way shape or form. Opinions expressed are soley my own.
You expressed your opinion about Stardock, I am also entitled to mine, plain and simple.
Secondly, I find most people to be a very poor judge of what "normal" is for me or anyone else for that matter. Your claim that you are a "normal consumer" and"normally don't whinge" tells me your standards for normal are far from mine. You would therefore be far down the list for such an evaluation.
You got what you paid for when you renewed, you just didn't get what you expected, based on your own failure to investigate all the details which is NOT the same thing. I suspect your "constant license trouble with Stardock products" stems from your same lack of attention to details.
Now, if only the beta could run for the remaining 40%

I was born next to Normal, but that is as close as I ever got and sadly, I'm still not a paid anything.
I do offer my services as a troubleshooter and smartass free to all takers though.

Stardock has been more than helpful every time I have needed it. Cordelia you obviously didn't read the clear print about what was promised when you renewed. There are several products that work on Windows 8 now, so you have what you paid for. If you don't renew your OD subscription you will still have the software and updates that you paid for. No, I do not work for Stardock either.

I seem to have an issue the new WindowBlinds for Windows 8. This involves taskbars on secondary monitors. Whenever I apply a skin via WindowBlinds the secondary taskbar on the secondary monitors keeps jumping up and down like a kangaroo. Up, blink, down, up, blink, down... like a kangaroo.

Stardock didn't miss any train. You simply failed to get all available information before purchasing.
