how to unzip
Saturday, September 7, 2002 by Janad22 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I have downloaded some desktop packages and it comes zipped in winzip. I'm not sure exactly where to install it. Usually I'm a bit brighter here, but I'm stumped.
Thanks for any and all help.
Sincerly, Jana

well, I've installed tons of WinZip files, but I admit, I can't install these! I've even saved them directly to the WindowBlinds folder, but they just sit there and never show up in my drop down list! When I click on anything IN the unzipped files it says there's something missing and am I sure it's a WindowBlinds file! There must be an easy way to do this! What's the secret?

I have the icon packager program, and sometimes the package goes right in there, but then some of the downloads come zipped, so i'm not sure where to unzip them to in icon packager??? That is what i meant. Sorry i wasn't clearer...Can you tell me now where I might unzip the files, such as the the icons and all to?
Thank you for your help

As for installing WindowBlinds skins, simply open display properties, go to the Appearance tab (that would be the Skins tab on non XP systems) and click the Add button. Then browse for the skin zip file.
