I just wanted to say thank you to Brad and his friends at Stardock & Wincustomize. Yesterday I was feeling really bad after work. Had a really bad day, was upset and in pain and just wanted to go home and go to sleep to get the day overwith. I opened the mailbox and there was a card from "The Folks at Stardock & WinCustomize" wishing me well and good health. I was almost in tears when I saw the card. I just have to thank you all for your love and support. It's really hard to get around right now, but having a whole community behind me is a feeling that I have never had before. I just must say thank you to everyone.

Our thoughts and our hope for your good health are there for you Karl. You must make it through your trials but you are not alone, you are a part of the whole that is all of us. A community exists only because the people in it care about each other. I've also found comfort here among all of our friends when the world outside seemed to have lost it's sanity and compassion. And yes, Stardock has a lot of class and often shows it cares about this community in a way far more human than any 'corporation' could ever be capable of. Thanks for sharing something so positive and reminding us all that a moment of thought for our brothers can make a difference.

You know, sometimes the board gets swamped with so much negative BS- rants and flames about DL caps, "where is the community", "I'm taking my stuff down and leaving", yadayadayada- and then something like this comes along- and we get a gentle reminder about what's really good about this group. No matter what, this is a thriving, caring community. Take care Karl. And the same to all of you that keep the flame lit.

What else can I say? I'm truly touched by the massive amount of people, their prayers and thoughts. It certainly makes me stronger. Each day I wake up I try to push a little harder. I now know there are people that care. I had given up all hope, my health started to get worse. I was told I would probably end up in a wheelchair, I was going deaf and my loss of eyesight had doubled in 1 year, as well as my blood pressure was reaching a point I could have a massive heart attack at any time. I was ready to just fall asleep and that would be it. At this point, I've had comments and prayers from WinCustomize. I recieved a letter from Jack Rowe, CEO of Aetna Health, Inc. which is my employer, I recieved numerous emails from numerous Charity & Non Profit Organizations I am involved in. How some of these people found out is beyond me....To this date, I've only released the details to WinCustomize and one other organization. Now, being almost 21 years old, I am at a point in my life where big changes should occur. I thought once I hit 21, I would be growing up and people would begin to see the true me. From what I have seen in the past two weeks is a certainty I never had. It shows that even as young as I am, I am already seen in the world. It shows me there are people in America and in countries across the world that really do care. Your tremendous support and prayers are indeed something that has been helping me throughout my treatment. The neurological shock therapy, the medications and your thoughts and prayers have helped me. While I am still not where I should be, I am gradually improving. A miracle? A work of "God"? A strong will? I don't know. But I do know that in the past three weeks the treatment was worked more than it has in the past year. I will keep you updated on my condition and my ability to return to Skinning, Photography and Writing. Thanks Again for your Comments, Thoughts and Prayers.

Like Jafo said, this is not a neighborhood community, it's world wide. That means you have friend all over the world. We are all behind pulling for your fast recovery. Remember, your in our prayers.
