GM, It was only mean if there was malice. If you did it with only good intentions (ie. to help here realize she was getting a bit big-headed) then it wasn't mean....at least not from your point of view.

I think that maybe I did it so my bubble would be bigger and better than hers. I think that was the mean part, coming from insecurity (see, I am defensive, too!). Boy, motion, these bubbles of yours have turned out to be real therapeutic... more like a confessional, though. OR free-association, bubble style!
