Windowblinds & Skinstudio for Android would make someone rich
I see a BIG Market for that now
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 by neone6 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Finally Got my Android Phone & saw "Themes/Skins" for it on the AppMarket....
That could be one of the biggest things creating Windowblinds & Skinstudio for Android OS.
-Any input/thoughts on this ? Neil Banfield, Spencer ? Community crew ?

I downloaded an SDK for GO Launcher EX some time last year to see what it took to make a theme - never really got around to it though (real-life kicked in) but from what I saw it would take a fair amount of (manual) coding.
I would think it would be the same deal with Next Launcher. ![]()

There is Go Launcher and ADW and some others. Buuf and Ubuntu has been adapted for both i think. There isn't much you can do except change the taskbar, icons (if they match the 'skin') and clock gadgets. Icons are the hardest part. Everyone wants an icon for their favorite app and very few icon sets come close. So far, Buuf is the most complete.

Quoting neone6, reply 26Problem is... I wanna skin it !!
Did you check my link in comment #22?
At a glance it seemed like forum posts on how you Code themes/skins or similar & I don´t wanna go in to too much technicalities I just wanna skin/design.
But THANKS for the Link Hankers, Kitty is checking it out more closely right now & I will have a closer look tomorrow.

When the Ubuntu phones arrive in October, I'll think you'll see skinning go crazy for phones.

Hello to ALL!)
This is My tonight Dream (replyang/reproduced in Photoshop )
:
1) "StartA Launcher" in My Android LAPTOP.
2) My favorite Stardock Molten theme in "AndroidBlinds theme manager" for "StartA Launcher"
3) "APPMix" for Android (Run Android apps in a window on the desktop; Display and pin apps on the taskbar; Explicitly close apps by clicking its close button)

I used to search Google with "Windowblinds for Android" and something like "icon Packager"! There are certain apps, those fancy 3D launchers, but God, they're awful and incomparable with Nova or apex launchers, which actually allows you to customize the folder icons.
When Android is concerned, I'd love to see a WB app for the OS, but I don't know how flexible the app will be as we are all aware that android runs on quite a few different brands, so it'll be a lot of work for Stardock!
The IOS seems like a lot easier platform to work with, although I am an Android user.

I see if you have Next Launcher there is now a 3D free upgrade. Anyone actually using this because if it works I would pay for it and ge the 3D upgrade for free.

But -How did they skin it is what I´d like to know...?
I don´t think that there´s a skinning software out there like "Windowblinds" for Android so -HOW.
Probably Alot of coding and that´s why I made this post from the start
