Still finding my way round XP. Im wanting to change my logon screen, Ive downloaded the programme I need and have got my chosen screen in a zip file.........What next?........Told you I was thick

Thanx loads for that......I did download and install Logonstudio and I tried what you said but when I double click the file it only opens up all the bitmap files and when I try to open up LogonStudio it keeps wanting to install it again........Im gonna go delete it and try again from scratch....Thanx again for your help....Im not really up on pcs, Im still learning..but I suppose we all have to start somewhere eh?

Try it this way Sue Anne, open the logon studio program, and you will see a button marked "Load", click that and then browse to where your new logon screen is located (the one you downloaded) and highlight it and hit "Open".

Thanx for that BoXXi........Ive now got it all working....I deleted LogonStudio and downloaded it again and it works great...Thanx loads
