how do i change the color when making a skin

I am trying to build a skin and the background i choose for the startmenu is very dark so i want a light color for the text, how do i do that, i can not understand how to change from the default black to a white one, help please.

As I do not skin all I can do for you is dump you back to the top of the page. Maybe someone will answer.

Vachon, here is how I do it when making a new skin. Other skinners may do it differently but this way works for me.

I am assuming that you are using SkinStudio and that you have your skin open...

In the 'explorer' panel on the left side expand the XP Desktop section.

Then expand the Taskbar section.

Now double click on Clock.

Over on the right hand side double click Text Color.

Now change the color to what you prefer.
