Does anyone know if the little red close button and pin image are skinnable through wb? I have a feeling not, but will ask the pros. Thanks in advance.

It's the jumplist (when you right-click on a taskbar button).

not possible with any Stardock software.

you'll need a resource hacker to change these. they are in imageres.dll if i remember correctly.

Those icons are controlled by the system, so unless you're willing to hack your system it would be best to leave them alone doortech1. Personally I hate the way the "wed one" (good one Wiz!) looks too.

Uvah:

with more than one billion downloads (of course that includes multiple versions) it is one of the most popular applications for all desktop operating systems.

and it is skinnable.

it's a pity that the skins for OSX use a different format, as these are a lot better looking (at least in my opinion)

it's been awhile but I had an icon program that I thought let me open dll files, I wonder if icon packager allows that?

Thanks all you class clowns. I kinda figured. I would hack my system without hesitation, but does no good for the blind. Not life ending, was just curious as I looked at several top skins and not one had skinned it.

Uvah, nothing wrong with Icon packager or whatever it is, I just only have so much time and do not want to get caught up doing icons also.

FYI, I use vlc always and it is skinnable. I have also made two skins for power dvd, but I am the only one with those. I can not upload the files, they are 40mb or better. Not happening on dial up. Otherwise, I would share them. One is called Silky Window, The other is called Purple, yeah, I know, real creative. Took one year to do both with restorator and adobe.

Thanks again evryone.
