Virtual XP Mode and Stardock
What do you see?

Hey guys. I decided to play around with XP mode on Windows 7 Ultimate and was wondering if any of you guys have tried it?
I can't get CursorFX Plus to work.
Icon Packager works, but looks yucky.
Sound Packager half works, and Windowblinds works fine.
Anyone have any advice for me?

Not the type of answer I would usually offer ( I'm using "X" what can I do... try something else") but I recommend scrapping that and using VMware Workstation 9. It handles video and resources much better.
A bit costly at $249 but I (being in I.T.) find it essential.
For a die hard hobbyist and skinner it would be extremely beneficial for covering a plethora of OS flavors as well.

I just want to play with it, can't afford $249.00 to play with. Mainly wanted to try to get a working version of DX Pro 3.5 on it....but, no go.
Again, nothing scripted runs.
Thanks tho.
I have used VirtualBox before, when I didn't have Win7 Ultimate.
Thanks Phoon.

I run VirtualBox but haven't tried DX on it......works great for all my XP & Ubuntu needs though. Not sure what would keep scripts from running.

Yeah, leave XP to those of us with machines that have to run it.
