???Moving into a new computer...

I have an e-mail account with 50mbs storage. I created an alias and diverted all incoming into a save folder. I have been e-mailing files I want to save to that account; after I get moved, I will mail them back to myself on the new computer. Can I go into my OD folder and e-mail my downloads that way, email them back when I am ready, and drag them into OD? Once I have deleted all my OD files, and have the empty OD shell, can I e-mail that as well? How do I get the new computer to recognize it? This would save wincustomize a lot of bandwidth, and it would be very quick and handy for me, too.

I always back up my od-component-downloads (.cmi's and .cab's)to another folder before installing, so that I have them handy after a crash or something. Sure You can copy them to the OD-folder afterwards. Just be sure to have the installed-value set to '0' in the cmi-file, otherwise the component will appear as installed in CM.
