How can I change the Win98 startup screen?

Saturday, July 27, 2002 by Luke de Sade | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I know that in Win98 logos.sys and logow.sys are the two shutdown screens, but how can I change the startup screen? How must I name my .bmp file for it to appear as the startup screen? Anyone know?

There is a program that will let you use any BMP as your startup and shutdown screens. It is called SUSD Screens. I use to use it when I was running 98. You can find it here. http://www.clever-software.co.uk/
